Before coming to NAI Beverly-Hanks, Wes Morgan enjoyed a successful business career in New York City as National Accounts Officer with Irving Trust Co. During his tenure there, he travelled extensively around Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. Looking for a change of pace, he returned to his hometown of Asheville, NC and presided as president and treasurer of his own company, Smoky Mountain Petroleum.
To his clients and colleagues, Wes is known for his “follow up and follow through.” His public service activities are a testament to that. He has served with the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. With the Sales and Marketing Executives International, Inc., he served as president and as a director, and was named “Sales Executive of the Year” in 1994. He also served the Better Business Bureau as chairman and director, the Asheville Merchants Association as director, and the Boy Scouts of America® Daniel Boone Council as a district chairman.
