In honor of Beverly-Hanks’ 40 years in business, we’d like to celebrate our company founders this Father’s Day weekend.
In 1976, two of the area’s most prominent real estate brokers, George Beverly and W. Neal Hanks, Sr., recognized the value of working together in order to strengthen both their businesses and the community they both loved. That year, Beverly-Hanks & Associates was founded with the mission to be Western North Carolina’s best real estate company. In the four decades since, that mission has remained unchanged.
However, being the best real estate company in WNC means more than transacting the most residential and commercial properties in the region. George Beverly and Neal Hanks were committed to building the community through more than merely real estate sales. Programs like the Neal Hanks, Sr. Housing Assistance Program and the company Memorial Fund have ensured that families in our communities have greater access to affordable housing and nonprofit resources each year.
Our founders recognized it was the people of Western North Carolina who built our communities, and it is the local families and professionals who make our area what it is today.
Under the second-generation leadership of Neal Hanks, Jr., Beverly-Hanks & Associates, REALTORS® is proud to continue that community-minded legacy. We are the largest local real estate company, representing more commercial properties and homes and land for sale throughout Western North Carolina than any other real estate firm. But our size only enhances our total capabilities to contribute to the community in which we live.
