The modern 42-acre Town Square was designed a decade ago with an innovative urban concept to serve one of the fastest growing areas of town with walkable residential, commercial, and office space. The Asheville Citizen-Times recently reported that the community’s 200 apartments condos are fully occupied, 283,000 square feet of retail is 90% full, and 290,000 square feet of office space is 95% full. Because of this, Biltmore Farms, the development company, is expanding into an adjacent “100-acre wood.” Biltmore Farms CEO Jack Cecil says plans for the additional development are designed to capture the same experience as is currently available in Biltmore Park’s Town Square, with a walkable mix of commercial, retail, apartments, and condos.
