\n\u201cDowntown was still pretty quiet back then, but I remember there\u2019d be these cars that would just stop in the middle of the road in front of the shop,\u201d Woolum smiled. \u201cAnd these well-dressed women would jump out, walk into the store and say, \u2018Is this the Roberto Coin? There\u2019s a store here?\u2019 They just couldn\u2019t believe it.\u201d
\nAnd as the Asheville boutique has grown, in popularity and quality, so has the city itself outside their doors.
